Andee iOS - Official Product Support

Getting started with Andee iOS is easy. Simply follow the steps listed below to get started!

Connect your andee to your arduino board. The Andee iOS pins should line up properly with the pins on your Arduino.
Download and install the latest version of the Arduino IDE from here.
Download and install the Arduino Andee Library. Refer to the instructions below for library installation.
Code your Arduino sketch to use Andee iOS features and load the sketch into the Arduino board
Download the Annikken AndeeMobile app and connect to your Arduino.

1) In your Arduino IDE, select Sketch >> Include Library >> Manage Libraries

2) Filter the search by typing Andee into the search box

Select the latest version from the drop down menu and hit install!

Updating or installing new firmware requires the following items:

1x Micro SD Card
1x Micro SD Card Reader/Writer (or a computer capable of reading/writing Micro SD Cards)
1x Arduino
1x Annikken Andee

Follow the steps below for updating/installing new firmware into your Annikken Andee:

Download the latest firmware from the link above.
Extract the zip file and copy "image.hex" into an SD card.
Connect the Annikken Andee to the Arduino and power it up. You should see an LED blinking. This means that the Andee is in Normal Mode.
You'll need to put the Andee into Update Mode. Press and hold down the buttons "BTN_0" and "BTN_1" together. Don’t let go of them yet!
While still holding down the "BTN_1" button, release the "BTN_0" button.
Let go of the "BTN_1" button. You should see that "CONN" and "STATUS" LEDS are now flashing together.
Insert Micro SD card into the Annikken Andee's SD card slot. Annikken Andee will automatically start updating. The LEDs will flash red and green consecutively. Do not power down the board at this time.
Once the update/installation has completed, the "CONN" and "STATUS" LEDs will start to blink green again.

Your Annikken Andee board is now updated with the new firmware!

Launch the Andee app on your smartphone and connect to the Annikken Andee.
Tap on the options button at the top right hand corner of your screen in the Annikken Andee App.
The firmware version of the connected Annikken Andee is shown at the bottom of the options page.
