Getting started with micro:bit is easy. Use Makecode block programming editor to easily program. You can access the editor using this link: https://makecode.microbit.org/. Simply follow the steps listed below to get started!
  • If you haven't done so, navigate to https://makecode.microbit.org/ to start programming for micro:bit.
  • Add the andee package to Makecode by clicking the cog icon in the top right corner.
  • Now click on Add Package..
  • You will see a pop up after clicking on Add Package.., now type "Andee" in the textbox and click on search.
  • Click on the Andee package once loading completes.
  • You will now see a new category called Andee added. You can now create widgets for Annikken Andee.
Andee Package

1) In your Makecode, select the cog icon in the top right corner and select Add Package.

2) Filter the search by entering Andee into the search box and hit search

Select the the Andee package and Makecode will automatically install the package for you!

Your micro:bit may not be discoverable by Annikken Andee for several reasons:
  • Pairing mode is on and the device have not been properly paired. To properly pair the devices, please refer to micro:bit pairing.
  • For iOS only: It is advisable to disable micro:bit pairing. To do so:
    • Select the cog icon at the top right corner of Makecode.
    • Select Project Settings.
    • Switch on "No pairing required." and hit save.

However, for convenience with using the micro:bit with Annikken Andee, we advise to disable pairing for your Andee project. Pairing can be disabled as follows:

  • Select the cog icon at the top right corner of Makecode.
  • Select Project Settings.
  • Switch on "No pairing required." and hit save.
